Favourite Getaways

Towards the south east coast of Victoria is one of my favourite getaway destinations. I find no such simplicity and beauty in many other places beside from the ocean and its view. I can not comprehend the beauty that is created from crashing waves and mesmerising sunsets. So very simple, but beautiful, don't you think?  I love that no one sunset is the same. The clouds discover new formations each evening, adding to the ever-changing beauty. 

Check out the view from the middle of the day, from inside. Magical!! The large windows of this ocean front villa capture the view perfectly. The cliff that the villa stands on is the perfect place to grab a cold drink, some nibbles to snack on and just sit peacefully, to admire the greatness of the vista that appears in front of you. How can you go wrong!

I can not wait to be back on the coast, soaking up the sunshine.

Introduction to Simply Shannon | My Fist Post

So, I have finally succumbed and partially figured out how to set up my own little corner within the big, crazy inter web. My name is Shannon Ford- just a girl from a small country town to the east of Melbourne, Australia. I attend university, studying a bachelor of business, but in any down time that I can get my hands on the first thing I will be doing is soaking myself in the fresh air, adventuring near or far and and surrounding myself in the beauty of this world.
I love to take photographs of anything or anywhere to capture the moment- and too try to improve my DSLR skills.... (they are not enhancing fast haha) Also, my love of food and all things nutritious is what keeps me excited for the day ahead.
I'm drawn towards the mountains, or the bush to the ocean, cute little towns and markets, groovy cafes and chilled out spaces. I like to be as far away as I can be from the hustle and bustle of the inner city. I could never see myself living there. I love it too much where I am right at this moment.
With this blog, I am willing to give you an insight into the things I like and the photos I take, any reviews of products I use and buy, and any delicious food that I feel is worthy of a post.
I am still getting the hang of this whole blogging notion, but hopefully I can get the hang of it soon and have an insightful and interesting blog, that I'm hoping will be an enjoyment to read.
